My Thoughts:

Here’s my overarching thought about these vitamins and this protein: I feel like they will help you become skinnier, but not healthier. Unfortunately, I think many people go for this.

Believe me, I love the idea of superfood concoctions that naturally aid weight loss. However, these products have no organic ingredients and contain bulking & anti-caking agents. Ick-no thank you.

The protein powder tastes good (if that’s of the utmost importance to you) and the vitamins go down easily and don’t leave a bad taste behind.

If these ingredients lists looked cleaner, I’d be all-about these products because they are convenient and the protein powder has a dessert-like taste to it. Unfortunately, I’ve tried many protein powders and discovered many natural metabolism boosters that are completely organic, making these two products fall far behind.

Chia Derm Review

Chia Derm

Overall Rating:

About Chia Derm:

Steven Jefferies discovered the miraculous health benefits of chia seeds while looking for a ‘superfood’ ingredient that would sustain him through long nights in law school studies and intense jujitsu training. At the dinner table one evening, Steven explained his findings to his aunt, Kelley Walker, as he poured chia seeds in water. Kelley listened to Steven talk about the endless benefits of the seeds as they formed a caviar type orb of hydration. As Kelley listened to the benefits, including extensive amounts of antioxidants, Omega-3 fatty acids, protein and dietary fiber, she thought, “Why wouldn’t this be beneficial for our skin and hair?”

She began experimenting in her kitchen and researching online when she discovered the unlimited benefits of chia seeds – for both ingesting and skin application. She came across a study conducted by The Korean University of Dermatology, which concluded that chia seed oil can be used as an adjuvant moisturizing agent for pruritic (itching) skin, including that of End-stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. Chia seeds can be used for anti-aging, scars, hydration, healing and skin protection. With additional research, she found that the little seed contained Biotin, which strengthens hair and nails.

Kelley and Steven traveled to areas around the world known for growing chia seeds and uncovered additional medicinal uses for chia seed oil used for centuries. After spending time deep in the Amazon with medicine men and women and learning the healing benefits of botanicals, they returned home with a new purpose: to formulate products using natural ingredients with clinical results.

Once back home in Houston, Kelley and Steven sought out and partnered with a highly respected and experienced formulator. They spent three years tirelessly researching and testing different formulas featuring chia seeds as a main ingredient, until they created the perfect formula.
The family business began with the CHIA DERM+ Serum and Balm. After listening to the demand from our customers for more ways to incorporate chia seeds into their skin and hair care routines, future products are already on the way including a line of men’s products!”

Facial Serum

“A “superfood” for your skin.

CHIA DERM+ Serum contains just one ingredient – pure chia seed extract – packed with an abundance of valuable nutrients so its benefits are infinite. With unrivaled levels of Omega 3s, antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, vitamins and rare trace elements, the CHIA DERM+ Serum provides a powerful complex of constituents to help heal, protect and preserve your skin against signs of aging.

No filler, no chemicals, no parabens, no gluten, no pesticides, non-GMO, no nonsense – just a pure, all natural, ultra premium solution for complete skin care.

Uses: For areas of concern that require high-potency spot treatment – crow’s feet, forehead, neck lines, hands, around the eyes, etc. Also ideal for hair care – apply to hair ends to promote a healthy shine and shield against damage.

Directions: Apply 2-4 drops as needed where restorative treatment is desired. To increase staying power on skin, follow up by applying CHIA DERM+ Balm. Add a few drops to your favorite moisturizer for extra hydration.

Ingredients: Chia Seed Extract.”

Facial Balm

“Meet your new best friend – The ultimate balm. Chia extract is paired with complementary ingredients such as bergamot, a rare Italian citrus fruit extract with medicinal properties. Other key ingredients include beeswax, honey and royal jelly extract to increase emollient properties.

All natural, no nonsense, endless benefits.

Uses: For age-susceptible areas that require protection from the elements with staying power – lips, around the eyes, elbows, knees, feet, hands, cuticles, between fingers, etc. A natural antibacterial and anti-fungal product, the balm can be applied to burnt, cut or pruritic (dry/ irritated) skin, expediting the healing process and reducing the appearance of redness and scarring.

Directions: Apply generously where restorative treatment is desired. To increase potency, use as a follow up treatment with CHIA DERM+ Serum.

Ingredients: Soybean extract, Beeswax, Chia Seed Extract, Safflower Oil, Hydrogenated Soy Polyglycerides, C15-23 Alkane, Olive Fruit Oil, Honey, Royal Jelly Extract, Propolis Extract, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Bergamot Fruit Oil.”

My Thoughts:

I love the idea of a skin care brand that harnesses the nature-given healing benefits of the chia seed. I know chia seeds to be a healthy source of fiber, fat and plant based protein (when ingested). I am a big fan of putting superfoods on your face (in facial masks, etc.). If it’s good to eat, it’s likely good for your skin.

So, as most of my readers are well aware (I’m sure), I hone in on ingredients when it comes to skin care. That is of the utmost importance to me when forming my opinion about skin care products-not effectiveness, not packing. Ingredients. I really appreciate the junk-free ingredient lists of the balm and serum. The serum is the ultimate in simplicity, with one ingredient. Non-gmo, paraben free and “no harsh chemicals” is a good thing to see, and after inquiring with Chia Derm, I’ve learned that:

“the Chia Seeds are absolutely grown organically. The chia seed plant has no know pests and no chemicals are used. Also the facility that manufactures Chia-Derm products will only accept certified organic ingredients Into their facility.”

Organic is awesome. Organic chia skin care? Even more awesome.

As far as how these two products perform, they’re both very dense-a little goes a long way. I only use a few drops of the serum on my finger tips and a tiny amount of the balm. You can use them in combination (serum before balm) if your skin needs a hefty dose of hydration. My skin only needs one or the other, as I have combination/oily skin. It leaves my skin completely quenched, glowing and fresh. I like them best when used after a clarifying cleanser like facial soap.

Karma Wellness Water Review

Karma Wellness Water

Overall Rating:

About Karma:

“Karma Wellness Water is a truly enlightened product, born out of the idea that what goes around comes around. A product based on the simple belief that if you do something positive—for others, or for yourself—you’ll get something positive back in return.

When you think about it, it just makes sense: make good choices, and you’ll see and feel the benefits.

Like choosing a drink that transforms pristine spring water into wellness water, creating positive effects for your mind, body, spirit, balance, and vitality.

That’s Karma.

And Karma Wellness Water was made possible thanks to a choice we made. Vitamins deteriorate in water, so premixed vitamin drinks can lose their strength over time. But because we chose to keep Karma’s ingredients in a patented KarmaCap until you’re ready to mix them, you’re able to enjoy all their benefits at maximum potency.”

“11 Probiotic Foods You Should Be Eating” by Jesica Salyer as featured on

Digestion: the process responsible for absorbtion of all vital nutrients that the body requires. Digestive health is a commonly overlooked facet of overall well-being that deserves a bit more attention. Making sure your gut is operating well is crucial inoptimizing all of your healthy eating habits. Without proper digestion, the nutrients you put into your mouth are not effectively utilized and assimilated. Thus, you’re wasting that energy potential.

Fortunately, the fix is simple: incorporate more probiotic foods into your daily diet andlessen the amount of junk-filled, empty calories foods you eat. There’s a wide range of foods that naturally contain probiotics and can help boost your digestive health with regular consumption. Check out this probiotic foods list:

Kimchi is a fermented cabbage dish, most popular in Korean cuisine. It has made its way into the western world’s array of foods and is looked at as a healthy gut food. Kimchi is a relatively low-calorie food that can be served alongside a protein like chicken or beef for a healthy dose of probiotics, vitamins & minerals.

Perhaps one of the tastiest fermented foods on this list, Kombucha is an elixir that improves upon your digestive health by increasing the amount of good bacteria in your stomach. Kombucha is a fermented tea that contains probiotics as a result of the tea fermentation process-which includes a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast). The texture of the culture itself can be unappetizing to some at first, but has no foul flavor or smell.

Effervescent in nature, this bubbly drink is a natural and healthful replacement for traditional, empty-calorie soda. It can be found in a multitude of flavors, is consumed chilled and makes for a great meal compliment.

Better known as a hot dog topping, sauerkraut actually packs a hearty punch of probiotics. Sauerkraut boasts many health benefits, mainly because it contains cabbage-which is a nutrient rich vegetable.

This cruciferous vegetable has been shown to effectively combat various cancers as well as sooth digestive issues. The probiotic content of sauerkraut, or fermented cabbage, is significant and can help keep your digestive bacteria balanced.

Though many find dairy products to induce sinus problems and digestive issues, kefir may work for some that don’t normally consume dairy. Kefir is a fermented milk product that boasts an array of vitamins and minerals, as well as probiotics.

The fermenting process results in the milk proteins being partially broken down, making them more readily absorbed by your digestive system.

These salty, tart, sour snacks are perhaps an unexpected addition to this list. More often seen as a burger topping, it may come as a surprise that pickles contain a hefty dose of probiotics.

These fermented cucumbers provide your digestive system with a greater ability to assimilate nutrients and degrade anti-nutrients-or compounds that hinder proper nutrient absorbtion. Aim to shop for organic store bought pickles, or opt to make your own at home.

Tempeh is a plant based food made of fermented soybeans. You can normally find tempeh in dense, bread-like form. Tempeh contains stomach-healthy probiotics, a high amount of fiber as well as compounds that provide cardiovascular benefits. It can be eaten atop a salad, mixed into a stir-fry or consumed as a side dish.

Unlike miso soup, another one of these probiotic foods using soybeans, tempeh contains a low amount of sodium-making it suitable for individuals with high blood pressure.

Dark Chocolate

Unarguably the most appealing and tasty fermented food, dark chocolate contains a naturally occuring amount of probiotics. It’s important to look for organic, raw cacao bars that contain at least 70% cacao. Generic chocolate bars found at your local convenience store will not offer you the same health benefits. Most store bought chocolate has been processed and heated, which denatures and depletes most of its nutritional value.

As for every one of these fermented foods, look to buy organic when it’s available. Making this small investment every time you shop will enable you to gain the digestive health benefits and keep your pesticide exposure low. Organic foods also contain higher levels of nutrients and cancer-starvning antioxidants.

In all of this, don’t feel like you need to run to the store and buy every last fermented food to have healthy digestion. Simply incorporate a few of these foods a few times a week to receive their benefits. You can boost the health of your gut by limiting processed and junk-filled foods. Look to whole, real foods to fill your tank.

Luminance Organic Skin Care Review

Luminance Skin Care

Overall Rating:

About Luminance:

The story of our company!

Kim and his wife Priscilla. Kim was working as an electrical engineer in Silicon Valley when Priscilla became allergic to everything with synthetic fragrance, which is pretty much all commercial skincare products and much of that which is hand made. Priscilla couldn’t use soap, hair spray, perfume, laundry detergent…etc without getting a severe migraine. They looked for good products without synthetic fragrances and discovered that even “unscented” products use a synthetic masking scent to mask the typically unpleasant odor of all the nasty synthetic ingredients. As these synthetic fragrances become less and less expensive they have become more and more pervasive. And the worst part is many are known carcinogens and remain completely unregulated by the FDA because they are not consumed orally.

We maintain that if you put it on your skin you’ve eaten it, you just didn’t have to chew and swallow first.

So what started as a way to free Priscilla from severe migraines has turned into a passion to create the finest, cleanest skincare products in the world. And now, ten years later, the product line includes deeply moisturizing handmade soaps and skin care products that are both organic and raw. Without anything synthetic. Toxic. Or harmful in any way. Every product is formulated and handmade by Kim with an extremely high level of precision, sophistication, care and craftsmanship.

Kim spends most of his time in the studio making all the products and creating new ones. He is very creative!

Cameo. Cameo makes all of our soaps. Cameo has been with us a little over 2 years now and over the last 2 years has matured into a truly, world class master soap maker. Cameo is the only person Kim has ever completely trusted to make the soaps, and I can say without equivocation that this is a big deal as Kim is very very attached to the soaps. Cameo is a treasure!

Phoebe. Phoebe is amazing. It’s a funny story. Kim needed someone to help him cross his T’s and dot his I’s in the studio so he went to Benicia High School’s Career Center and asked them for a serious, well behaved student, with aptitude in math and science. Goo natured  with a sense of humor. And they sent him Phoebe. She keeps our head on straight and brings us joy.

Phoebe is literally brilliant.

Elena. This is me. I was Kim’s customer at the Lake Merritt Farmer’s Market for six months before I started working with him. I do most of the sales and online marketing which is funny because I come from the non-profit world. I worked as an English Teacher to adults, an After-School Program Teacher, Coordinator, and Program Manager. I left that world for this world of wonderfulness.”

Face Moisturizer

“We hand-craft this organic and all natural moisturizer with the moist nourishing and hydrating ingredients in the world. With nothing synthetic, toxic or in anyway harmful. Vegan and raw. A wonderful moisturizer for sensitive skin.

This cream is designed for youthful skin and is consistently a best-seller. It is somewhat lighter than our Deep Hydration Moisturizer. And every bit as nice.

Rich with anti-inflammatories like Evening Primrose and Meadow foam Oils. Formulated in a base of pure Rose water for the skin calming and nourishing affect of Rose Oil. Argan Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Jojoba Oil help the skin hold hydration. And finally, a very therapeutic collection of organic herbal extractions formulated to help your skin heal and stay healthy.

These ingredients are the best there are for your skin.

Hydration Moisturizer is designed to penetrate quickly and leave your skin non greasy and silky smooth. Makeup can be applied within a few minutes.

Tip: This is a very rich cream and so if you happen to apply too much, simply find some more skin and spread it. The skin on your neck and top of your chest is the same skin thats on your face (very delicate). This is a good place to put excess cream.

Hydration Ingredients: WaterRose Water Oils:  Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, Avocado,Jojoba, Meadow foam, Argan, and Kukui. Organic Herbal Extracts: Tamarind Seed, Raspberry Seed, Comfry, Sea Buckthron, Holy Basil, Calendula, Tamanu, Honey Suckle, Rose Hips. To Naturally Preserve: Red Radish Root Extract.

Craftsmanship. And care.”

Skin Lotion

“This all natural, vegan, and raw body lotion is very similar to our Deep Hydration Face Cream with adjusted viscosity so it is easily pumped from a bottle. Like all Luminance products, this lotion is carefully blended by hand at just a few degrees above body temperature to assure the integrity of the naturally therapeutic ingredients. Designed to absorb quickly into your skin, because nobody likes standing around cold and naked waiting for their lotion to absorb. Your whole body will be as soft as your face.

Perfect for morning, afternoon, or evening. On your sink, in your car, on your desk.

I love this lotion. You will too.

Organic Skin Lotion Ingredients: WaterLavender Water Oils: Tamarind Seed,Tamanu, Apricot Kernal, Macademia, Avocado,Jojoba, Meadowfoam, Argan, and Kukui. Organic Herbal Extracts: German Blue Chamomile, Tamarind Seed, Raspberry Seed, Comfry, Sea Buckthron, Holy Basil, Calendula, Tamanu, Honey Suckle, Rose Hips & Lavender. To Naturally Preserve: Red Radish Root Extract. Craftsmanship. And care.”

Anjou Pears Bar Soap

“We hand-craft our moisturizing soaps with organic ingredients. Nothing synthetic, all natural and vegan

This organic, all natural, hand-crafted soap smells just like fresh pears. Really, it’s a secret blend of several 100% pure essential oils. Of course, it lathers wonderfully, deeply and gently cleansing like all our soaps.

Ingredients: Water Purified Water Oils: Coconut, Palm (Orangutan friendly), Jojoba, Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, Avocado, Palm Kernel, Meadowfoam, Argan, Kukui, Grape Seed and Rice Bran. Clays: White Benonite, French Green & Red Moroccan Scents:  A secret blend of 100% Pure Essential oils. To Saponify: Food Grade Sodium Hydroxide*

* A few words about Sodium Hydroxide: It is not synthetic.  It is the traditional base component that when added to the fatty acids (the seed and fruit skin oils) to create an reaction resulting in cold process soap. The most gentle skin loving variety of soaps. When the formulation is done right, and we do it by hand is small batches, with engineering precision, all of the Sodium Hydroxide reacts with all of the oils, and clays and essential oils into a wonderfully fragrant, perfectly gentle and safe bar of soap.”

Face Cleanser: Delicate

“We hand-craft this organic and natural cleanser for the most delicate skin. Like all our products it is vegan and raw and without anything synthetic, toxic or harmful in any way.

This face wash is truly the basis for healthy skin.

Formulated with the same wonderful ingredients we use in our moisturizers (and more!) This cleanser will gently cleanse, wonderfully nourish and deeply moisturize your skin.

And it’s soap. Real soap. Fact is, there is nothing better for your skin than a properly made and properly pH balanced hand made soap. When people say: don’t put soap on your face, what they should be saying is don’t put petrochemical grease strippers full of alcohol, metals and solvents on your face. Which by the way, accurately describes all of the commercially available cleansers.

Yup, soap is the way to go.

If you don’t already know what synthetic cleansers do to your skin check out our blog. They won’t kill you but they encourage overly oily, dry and unpredictable combination skin.

Be sure to visit our Instructions Page for a best procedure to use our Delicate Cleanser.

Ingredients: Water Purified Water Oils: Coconut, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, Avocado, Meadowfoam, Argan, Kukui,Grape Seed and Rice Brand. Scents:  A secret blend of 100% Pure Essential Oils. Herbal Extracts: Honeysuckle, Orchid and Chamomile. To Saponify: Food Grade Potassium Hydroxide*

* A few words about Potassium Hydroxide: It is not synthetic.  It is the traditional base component that when added to the fatty acids (the seed and fruit skin oils) to create an reaction resulting in hot process liquid soap. The most gentle skin loving variety of soaps. When the formulation is done right, and we do it by hand is small batches, with engineering precision, all of the Sodium Hydroxide reacts with all of the oils, and clays and essential oils into a wonderfullu fragrent, perfectly gentle and safe bottle of liquid soap.

So don’t worry about it.”

Face Toner: Rosewater

“Spraying yourself with our Rosewater is like swimming in freshly plucked rose petals. It’s fragrant, pure, and will leave your face dewey with rose oil.

It also serves as a pH adjustment. This is how you help your face correct dry skin, oily skin, and skin that vacillates between the two (combination skin). Tap water is too alkaline for your face (sometimes in the high 9s). Your face is happy in the upper 6s. Spray your face with rose water after exposing it to tap water and your skin will thank you for it.

Our rosewater is not a hydrosol. It doesn’t have any alcohol, solvents or astringent.

Just pure rosewater.

For those of you with acne prone skin, don’t be scared off by the word oil. The oils we use are good for your skin and won’t clog your pores.

If your makeup isn’t blending well (we all have those days) spray some rose water toner on after you’ve put on your powder and it will become seamless with your skin😉

Ingredients: Water: Organic Rose Water.”

My Thoughts:

Luminance skin care…..ahhhhhhh. What a treat these organic skin care products are.

My favorite amongst this bunch, because the incredible scent stands out-is the Anjou Pears bar soap. I have been tempted to take a bite out of it-it smells THAT good. It cleanses thoroughly without stripping skin of all moisture.

These products are amongst the very best that I’ve ever used. I am in love with the idea that they put “craftsmanship” into creating these skin care products. With that word, I picture a few individuals handling these products and bottling them by hand, with care. They aren’t cranked out in gigantic masses. They seem to really put care and love into creating their products. It’s inspiring.

I am committed to putting organic, pure products onto my skin-especially onto my face. I’m an active girl who perspires quite a bit when I exercise. Thus, I typically desire a clarifying cleanser to refresh and cleanse my skin after working out. This liquid face cleanser is very clarifying. It feels like it completely and thoroughly cleanses my skin. Without following with a moisturizer, my skin would be dry (it cleanses that thoroughly). But, when I use the cleanser in combination with the face moisturizer, my skin is very happy. The face moisturizer is very creamy and dense. Many synthetic cleansers contain a lot of fillers and water-making them only temporarily moisturizing. This face cleanser & moisturizer are the real deal: simple, effective & pure.

This rosewater (pure as can be; what more can you ask for?) is the perfect mid-day facial refresher. I aim to only wash my face once a day (over washing can cause skin problems), so, this rosewater routine fits perfectly into that strategy.

I’m always searching for the perfect body lotion. Some of them are too creamy to spread easily onto my body, and some are too runny. This body lotion just might be the perfect consistency-and the ingredients (like in all of these Luminance products) are stellar. It’s the ideal lotion-organic ingredients and incredibly nourishing on my skin.

It’s safe to say that Luminance Skin Care is amongst my top 5 skin care lines that I’ve ever tried!

“Benefits of Raw Butter & Why to Avoid Pasteurized Dairy” by Jesica Salyer as featured on

Dietary fat is often villainized, when it should be celebrated and praised. It’s one of the three vital macronutrients that the body requires in order to function properly. Amongst many other things, fat plays a key role in the endocrine system–which is responsible for producing every hormone circulated through the body and bloodstream. Hormones are the body’s chemical messengers that help maintain homeostasis and balance.

What is Raw Butter?

Raw butter is unprocessed, unheated, unpasteurized and unhomogenised butter fat which comes from cream. This means that raw butter contains all of the necessary vitamins and minerals that nature intended it to contain. The aforementioned processes strip and denature the make up of the butter such that it is no longer the nutritional powerhouse it once was.

Contrary to popular belief, pasteurized dairy products are to blame for the wide spread intolerance of lactose and casein. The lactose and casein are perhaps not the problem. The problem lies in the manipulated dairy products. Raw butter (as well as raw milk) is completely safe and can be a huge contribution to your overall well being.

Benefits of Raw Butter

what are the benefits of raw butter

Raw butter is a fantastic source of fat for the body and boasts a wide range of health benefits including:

  • Rich source of Vitamin A, which is crucial to thyroid health
  • Contains lauric acid, which can help digestive problems like candida
  • Combats cancer cell formation due to a high antioxidant content
  • Natural content of vitamin D helps facilitate the absorbtion of calcium
  • Boost oral health; can help prevent tooth decay, plaque build up and cavity formation
  • Contains iodine, which the body uses in the thyroid for proper functioning
  • Helps boost overall endocrine health; as healthy fats help facilitate hormone discpursement throughout the body
  • Improves the look and health of your complexion
  • Helps meet your daily recommended value of good fats, thus helping keep your macronutrients in balance

Raw Butter: Much Healthier Alternative to Pasteurized Butter

what are the benefits of raw butter

Pasteurized dairy products are merely everywhere. These products, contrary to what the masses have been trained to believe, are not produced or packaged to benefit our health. They often contain hormones and artificial ingredients added to increase the shelf life of the product. Pasteurized dairy has also been heated (which denatures the proteins and decreases its nutrient content) and artificially boosted with synthetic (not naturally-occuring in milk) vitamins and minerals to replace what’s been stripped out of the milk.

Why would big box dairy companies do this? This happens because money and profits still drive much of the food industry–thus, we are deceived into thinking that this milk is good for us when it’s made entirely to increase profit margins. The end product is something that can withstand more time in the refrigerator–but is in no way good for you.

Pasteurized milk and butter are an unfortunate norm. Luckily, you can take the initiative to research your local farms and hopefully find sources of these raw superfoods for you and your family to thrive off of. It’s the tragic reality that raw dairy is illegal to sell for human consumption in most US states.

Other countries are much farther ahead of the game than the US is, as raw dairy is readily availble in some countries and is in high demand. Hopefully the people of every nation will eventually be given access to what’s within their right to have access to: high-quality, nourishing food

Support Your Local Farmers

Though retail sale of raw dairy products is prohibited in many states, some states are allowed to sell from farms (with limitations still put on promoting this). Some farmers will market their raw milk for pets, but it is extremely healthy for humans as well.

As time passes, the hope is that there will be more awareness about the contents of pasteurized milk and the benefits of raw milk. This will perhaps help increase the amount of farmers who are bottling and selling raw milk; thus making it more accessible to the vast majority of people.

Food Should Taste Good Brown Rice Crackers Review

Food Should Taste Good

Overall Rating:

I have reviewed a few snack products by “Food Should Taste Good,” which you can read here and here.

(example food label from the “Sea Salt” flavor)

My Thoughts:

I think Food Should Taste Good makes a slightly above average line of snacks. I see them that way, in short, because they are non-gmo but they do not contain organic ingredients. I also would rather reach for a piece of fruit to satisfy my carbohydrate intake than chips. They could be eaten to tackle a craving for a salty snack, but not in place of a raw, whole food option.

They are tasty, convenient to throw into a snack bag and are a step up from your typical bag of genetically modified potato chips. I enjoyed the  “Tomato & Basil” flavor the most. The flavor is subtle, so I wouldn’t say that they are very flavorful-they’re more hearty and filling.

I see Food Should Taste Good chips as a step up, but not the best option available. Non-gmo is good, but organic & non-gmo is what I strive for.
